Join Wayan Vota of the Career Pivot and Kyle Dietrich and the Grounded Idealist team for a customized in-person workshop for displaced federal workers, contractors, implementers, and others navigating complex professional transitions.

There will be two core activities during the workshop:

➡️ Group Coaching: Working Your Growing Edge. You will gain valuable tools and practical resources to more effectively navigate uncertainty while clarifying your purpose, goals, and strengths through a series of guided activities led by the Grounded Idealist team. This workshop will help you uncover and transform limiting beliefs, build ecosystems of collective care and action, and create an inner and outer growth strategy that increases alignment and future-proofs your career.

➡️ Targeted Guidance to a New Career. You will learn how recruiters hear your personal pitch, view your resume, and analyze your LinkedIn through an activity with My Career Pivot that puts you in control of the job search process. This workshop will help you learn how to accelerate your career journey, get coveted interviews, and be hired faster.

When: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 10:00 am-3:30 pm

Cost: This event is valued at $250/person, but we know many are unemployed, or about to be. While any amount is appreciated, the suggested contribution is $45/person for displaced workers, and $150 for all others. All contributions go to the organizers and facilitators, who are also displaced workers, and will support the development of future offerings for this community.

Perks: All participants are eligible to receive 3 free coaching sessions through the Coaching Collaborative and will gain access to valuable personal and professional development workshops and resources.

Note: After contributing here, please also RSVP through the EDCJCC website. Please only sign up if you are confident you will attend. We don’t want to take space from others. A few days before the event, we will share a self-assessment, several journal prompts, and a list of materials you will want to bring to the session (e.g., resume, cover letter, water bottle, snack).
