For Coaches
Are you a coach motivated to serve others?
Volunteer with Grounded Idealist and make a difference in the lives of service and social impact-driven professionals
The professionals you'll coach aren't your typical clients. They're diplomats, humanitarians, life-saving scientists, nonprofit leaders, aerospace engineers, park rangers, decorated veterans, and dedicated public and social sector professionals whose career pathways have been disrupted, not by lack of skills, but by sector-wide changes.
Your impact multiplies: Every professional you help can impact hundreds through their continued service.

In 2026-2027, we are partnering with the Academy of Inner Science and Mobius Executive Leadership on a transformative 8-part training series:
Foundations of Trauma-Informed Coaching & Consulting
This ICF-certified program is designed for coaches, consultants, group facilitators, and HR professionals who want to bring greater presence, depth, and trauma-informed awareness to their work with leaders and teams.
For decades, most coaching and consulting work focused on skills, performance, and measurable outcomes. The personal struggles of our clients—stress, fear, the weight of uncertainty and chaos in the world—were rarely part of the conversation.
But it is precisely our inner world that ultimately shapes how we think, communicate, and make decisions in our work.
Many of us are encountering relational dynamics we don't always know how to name or respond to, and quietly wondering if we have the depth and steadiness our clients need right now.
This program helps you bring a trauma-informed lens to coaching and consulting. It teaches you to approach the work not as therapy, but as a disciplined and practical way to recognize how stress and past experiences shape leadership behavior, team dynamics, and organizational culture.
Inside this training, you’ll deepen the distinctly human capacities at the heart of this work—the ability to stay present and attuned under pressure—so that trust holds and real change can take root.
Our work must do more than help people cope with pressure. It must guide them toward their most powerful, creative, and productive outcomes.
As part of the course, our Founder, Kyle Dietrich, leads a powerful session on “Supporting Mission-Driven Public and Social Sector Leaders.” Kyle’s session examines how trauma-informed principles apply in frontline public sector and social impact work. Service-oriented leaders carry not only organizational stress, but moral responsibility, vicarious trauma, sustained adaptive pressure, and identities that are often under threat.
Note: Participants who complete the course may earn up to 22 hours of Continuing Coach Education (CCE) credits, applicable toward the renewal requirements of an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential.
